Paintless Dent Removal (also known as PDR) is a technique used to remove small and large dents on a cars bodywork, where the paint has not been chipped or cracked. As it is called, "Paintless" meaning painting and fillers are not required. LED lighting is used to highlight the dent and then with specialised hand tools, the dent is slowly pushed out from behind the panel.

PDR does have it's limitations though and cannot be used to remove all dents. In some cases if a dent is very sharp or deep the steel can be over stretched and cannot be returned to its original condition.
